A few moments ago as I was chipping the dried rice krispies out of a cereal bowl which was left in the sink and hadn't been rinsed...(ugh)...a fleeting thought went through my mind that my life would be so much easier if I didn't have to clean up after my husband and my daughter. (And we're working toward becoming foster parents...what AM I thinking?!) But I'll take petrified krispies over an empty house any day! There are some things I love doing alone --but not for always.

That's awesome! I'm glad he's coming back!!! It makes us appreciate the people we love even more when we "remember" what it's like without them!

Can't wait to hear a bit about his trip!

Very similar to mine...'cept I don't mind wandering a mall alone.

Glad to hear your hubby is coming home today. You must be excited.

Oh happy day!
I like your list except I like to go to the Mall alone..most of the time and I do not like yard work alone or with someone..I only like to watch someone else do it!
Have a wonderful "reunion"!

Blogging...I like to be alone so I can concentrate...but I don't like to be alone as far as comments go...does that make sense...when I first started I had 0-1 comment for at least 2 months...felt like I was talking to myself...thanks for keeping me company!!
You are a great friend!!

What a splendid day column one sounds like. I agree with most of the don't like to do alone column except I think for yard work. I don't mind being alone with my thoughts,God, nature on that one. Good thing as Rob despises it. hee hee.

I like being alone in my home also..that hasn't been possible this past month with my husband recuperating from knee surgery...looking forward to his return to work :)...BTW, yes I did take that photo...I know that spanish moss is bad for trees but I absolutely love it! Happy reunion with your husband...glad he is home safe and sound. Thank you so much for stopping by and saying hello...it means alot to me :)

Glad to hear he's coming home today!

I don't mind doing things alone...but alone gets lonely. I am ready to not be alone.

Almost EVERYTHING is better if you have someone to share it with. I do spend a LOT of time alone... eating out, shopping, etc.. the worst things for me to do alone are.... drive to the beach for the day and crawl into bed at night... I still don't sleep very well... I do miss being held til I fall asleep.... lots of pillows help:)
Glad your hubby is coming home so you don't have to do those things alone(the ones you listed)
Hope he had a great trip!!!

I scare myself, cause I like doing all of it alone, except for going out to eat or to movies. Help with yard work is fun, too. I have to sleep alone b/c he is such an extreme saw mill, I would arise exhausted.

But, when my alone cup is filled, I am so ready to be with him.

Hope you had a great reunion!!!

I agree with most of your list too...except...I like doing yard work by myself - unless it is mulching...hee hee - then I want LOTS of help :)

Being alone for a short time is awesome (refreshing)...but then there is nothing like spending our lives with those we love!!
