I saw this today

$2.49.....

For the first time in ages.....the price of gasoline has fallen below $2.50 around here. Yay!!

So sad to hear the news about the Crocodile man, Steve Irwin's death. Fox News reported that although a few hundred people are injured yearly by sting rays, there has NEVER been a death reportedly caused by one.
Update 9:52am....MSNBC reports 3-17 deaths...ever by sting ray...all agree..very rare.

Reading some of this while hubby is away. Love this series!!

Thanks for all your prayers! They are much needed and appreciated! Some of his much needed luggage didn't make it all the way so you could add that to your prayers too if you think of it! Stuff in there he really needs, medically speaking.

Planning a trip to Jax to see the Jadabear next weekend!!

2.50!!! I never thought I would celebrate such a high price, but I'll take it now.

Thanks for commenting on mine.

Our prices are for litres, and right now at about 1.10 per litre, which I understand is about 2.50ish. Go figure, since we have our own gas supply in Canada. Time to go hybrid soon, I'm thinking.

Got gas today for $2.29! Filled up for $25. Made my day! So, look forward to it goin down some more.
I heard about Steve too and it made me sad. He has 2 very small children. I heard 17 people ever have died from them. I also heard that a statement released in Australia said, after viewing the video (yes the whole thing is on tape somewhere) he did nothing wrong and it was truely just a freak accident. Who would have thought with all the crazy things he's pulled off, he'd go out this way?
I texted dad last night with the score of the big game! He wrote me back about 4:30am!

The PM here is in hot soup everytime he announces price increase in petrol. People now starts to dislike him.. so he better think for a while before he does another announcement.
I feel the loss of The Crocodile Hunter also. Crocodile hunting and wildlife had never been this exciting before the way he brought it up to us in his own way.

You know ... I'm not sure I can articulate this ... and I don't watch the news, so I found out about his death on my friends' blogs ... but to die in such an extremely rare way doing what you love ... if he's a believer ... what a beautiful way for God to bring one home.
