Like sheep led to the slaughter

Truly reflections of their Lord and Master....this article made me cry...and pray that, given similar circumstances, I would have the grace to live out my faith in such a Christlike manner as these.

I've had an admiration for the Amish that goes back at least 25 years, that being said, I sometimes don't understand their ways...all I know is they did not deserve this mistreatment, but we could all learn from their responses to this tragedy.
(((hugs)))

yep, I cried too..and I wondered how Christ would react in this situation? Probably a lot like the Amish ...

I had the pleasure of growing up and now also living near Amish communities.

As a child, I remember with fondness, Mr. Byler as he stopped by our home each week - in his horse and buggy - selling eggs. He was one of my favorite people growing up. There was something "different" about this mild-mannered man.

The Amish people are wonderful. As Christians, we should follow their example of forgiveness. It is exactly what Jesus would do.

i truly don't understand people.
lots of maybe's, lots of what if, how's and why's. It took more for that mother to do what she did than it was for him to do what he did. strange world. they are still showing what he did, can i see more of what she did??

Amazing people in light of such a horrible event. My heart aches with the pain they must have to endure.

They are truly walking the walk...truly they must be Spirit filled. What an example to us all. How tragic, yet they glorify God and are being used of Him through the depair.

PS - I love the nickname Lele! : )
