My Wonderful Son!

This is my baby boy performing with his band, the Toasters, here in Atlanta last winter. He's the white kid, 3rd from the left. :D
I am so proud of him and his talent! He is living his dream and seeing the world (from the back of a van) :-)
He is an incredible musician and learning to be a good business man too. - His singing isn't too bad either. :) Guess he takes after me in that department. lol
Plus he still loves his Mommy! Now that's the good stuff.

Very Cool Cheryl! I liked you line where you said,"He is living his dream and seeing the world". Good for him because so often many of us forget or push aside the dreams of our childhood. I believe those dreams are the strongest and most revealing about us and our passions.

My "little"guy is 25 and 6ft tall. :) He plays saxaphone (on stage, but really several instruments)and has been touring with a Ska band called the Toasters for about 5 yrs. They are pretty big in the "ska" world, you can look them up at toasters.org I think. He also lays down some tracks for a couple of animation series in NY and plays occasionally, for fun, with a band called Skanatra(yeah, out of Hoboken (sp?), NJ. they only cover Sinatra music...LOL...I know...kinda funny but pretty cool to listen to. Even Nancy thinks so and gives her Ok. :)

I have always encouraged him to go out and see the world now and experience lots of things because one day when kids and mortgages come along it won't be so easy...I hope I have given sound advice. :) I don't want him to get into any life long problems because of his choices but he is grown now so I have to trust that the "raising" we, as parents, have done is strong inside of him.

Oh I used to love going to Ska Concerts! They were the most fun dancing I have ever done.
Sounds Fun.

How fun. So many have a dream of having a bad. It's wonderful that your son actually gets to realize this one. Meeting lots of interesting people no doubt, and doing what he loves. I love the sax and ska. Very cool. To answer your question, yep that's my baby girl. She's too months. Crazy but beautiful baby days (daze)! : )

I visited your son's website. Cool...looks like they really get around. I think that it is great that you encourage the free spirit before marriage and getting tied down. Some parents put pressure to settle down. Anna
