How?

How do you convey to someone who has only ever known you as you are...that HE changed everything??

This is a good question. Often times, I find myself wanting to spew from my mouth the entire story about my past....but the Holy Spirit very often doesn't allow me to do any spewing!!! I am convinced that He knows what He's doing and uses me even when I don't feel as if I'm making myself available. Trust and pray.

Dear Cheryl,
I may have gotten your enigmatic question wrong.
I have prayed over your question, and I found these words:
"Luke 12
Warnings and Encouragements
1Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. 3What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

4"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. 5But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. 6Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies[a]? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

8"I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. "

We are known and loved even before we were born.
Isn't that something?

I'd love to respond but not sure what you mean. But HE definitely changed everything for me, too.

If he has only known you as you are (a follower of Christ) then he's seen Jesus in your walk. If he saw you as an unbeliever (as though you were dead) and now you are in Christ (as though you are alive) then he would know how He has changed everything. It may be up to you to tell him how He changed everything when you see an area in his live that parallels the old man you once were. This is a deep and wide discussion .. my answer is confusing for sure.
