Crashing

Well, its Sunday night...the Eagles have lost the NFC championship game to the Cardinals...the ribs are gone...
and my son and his girlfriend, who have been visiting for a couple of days are preparing to head back to FL tomorrow. Sigh...I suppose all good things must come to an end.

At least I have one more day off to look forward to...thank you Martin Luther King Jr! :)

Sorry about the game but someone always has to lose. Just remember the time you got to spend with that darling boy and girl and graab some more chips and brownies if you need to!

Glad you got to spend time with your son regardless of who won or lost. Have a great MLK Day!

Dear Jada,
"Parting is all we know of heaven/
and all we need of hell."
Emily Dickinson

It's so wonderful when being together, and it wouldn't be hard to say goodbye, if we did not love each other.

Your son is looking very happy with his girlfriend.
That's the most important to a mother.

(My daughter left for 4 days vacation in London - alone- this afternoon. I had to wish her luck as well, and I meant it from the bottom of my heart. Husband Gunnar says we are entering a mood of prayer and contemplation!)

The food brings merriment to the stomach, the parting of loved sons to far off cities a heartache, the memories made while watching a football game and enjoying food and family will bring fond reminders until you meet again (win or lose).
