You might waant to check out this weeks Marriage Monday over at

http://chrysaliscom.blogspot.com/2008/02/top-ten-tips-for-ultimate-valentines.html. This week she asked for Valentines day ideas.

We don't really do Valentines Day so the ideas I posted are more about everyday romance. Others posted quite a few good ones though.

I love V's day and spread the Love with Brandi and the kids. DH and I feel the same way - we are lucky to have Valentines and that is a gift unto itself.
Dang, don't have anything tangible but depending on your DH's personality - a homemade card with a particular time that made you love him evern more. Mine is not particularily emotional but saves every Valentine card I have ever given him. Good luck on finding just the right thing!

My suggestion(s) would be, get massages together (or pedicures.)
My hubby and I did that once together and it was amazing !!
Make sure to get the aromatherapy as well as the exfoliating scrub.
When we did ours they did our legs as well !!

My second suggestion would be this thing called a rock spa (aromatherapy oils come with it to.)
I got one for Christmas (at my request) but it's something we do together that's a lot of fun.
It really does relax the muscles.
Add a bottle (or two:) of wine with some cheese, cracker, and lunchmeat of your choice and you're set.

My hubby and I don't really celebrate Valentine's either but really because everyday (or every weekend) feels like it when we're together.

I don't have any great ideas. I know some people like to get a room with a jacuzzi...

I'll keep checking here, though, for others' ideas!

One of the things I did for my hubby several years ago was to make a cassette tape telling him different places to go around town (ie. go to the florist shop and pick up flowers, got to the candy store and pick up candy, go to the card shop and pick up your valentines day card)...it ended with him meeting me at home for his favorite home cooked meal (you could have him meet you at his favorite restaurant). Hubby loved it and it's been one of his favorite things I've done for him. Have a happy V-day!

Hey, Cheryl!

Do you think he'd like one of these? ;)

If not, he might at least like to read about this!

And tell him I said hey...

I've thought about this, and after 42 years of marriage I've realized that each gift is individual, only you know what your hubby would love. If I gave mine a gift of a pedicure, he's run away, not that he couldn't benefit from one though! Your love and devotion - wrapped with a big red bow and sealed with a kiss is no doubt his favorite gift...anything else is just icing on the cake ~so to speak! Enjoy each other and enjoy the day!!
