The Alamo

I was here last weekend...

I walked down this hallway ...and was reminded of some things that have been embedded in my spirit for as long as I can remember...maybe I'll share a bit when I get the chance...
Hope your holiday weekend was good.

I was there about 25 years ago. It's amazing, isn't it? Hope you had a good time visiting your girl!

I'm all ears, Cheryl. Can't imagine what those memories are/were. . . Vaguely heard of the Alamo. Ah, what it is to have a history in another country and place. Looking forward to hearing yours sometime. (Glad you liked the logo)

Oh I am so jealous!1 We absolutely love Texas and would love to retire around Austin when Miss Sam leaves for college! Isn't San Antonio awesome?

I am a lover of Texas, and my daughter Sara was born there. Now I have to say I'm a little disappointed that this is one of those "to be continued" type of blogs - but I'll be waiting to hear the rest of the story...just don't keep me waiting to long!

I love the thought of good things being embedded - sometimes it seems like only the bad want to dig deep.

Looks just like I would imagine and great fun!

Antiquity can be haunting. All the souls whose feet and hearts have journeyed over the stony floors and leaned with exhaustion upon the rocky walls. . . how many times did Holy Spirit swoop down as the One Who Comes Beside Us and strengthen and encourage His war-weary soldiers?

Look forward to hearing more on this from you!

I'm looking forward to hearing too. We used to live in Corpus Christi so I've been to the Alamo a few times. Pretty amazing.
