Wear More Silk

I was forced to change over to the new blogger today so if you have problems with my site...that's why...they didn't give me the option..just said.."do it"...turns out its was very easy and seems to work very well...from my side anyway...

With V day in mind.....no not really...just doing regular maintenance on my marriage by checking this out....

Looks like fun... :)

What are some of the flirty, sexy things you have done to spice up your marriage or significant other relationship?...that you can put into print...tee hee

Update...guess I should include a tip or two of my own..:) I've been known to have an indoor picnic for 2 on a blanket by the fire...send balloons to work...leave a trail of love notes leading to a surprise...book a romantic weekend getaway in a themed B&B....

Your turn...:)

You know I started to think of some things then I thought do I want to type down any of it and have anyone but other women know?......um no cause Zeke would kill me!

I love sales at Victoria's Secret however.

Here is one thing I know works but will not admit it. I will imply it, I of course being a good Christian women I would never ;)

You can be perfectly modest in public and not have everything on you have on most days. If no one knows but you for a bit that's a good thing. Just make sure your hubby is not speaking in public or anything when he finds out.

Be loved sister you are

I buy myself a frilly "teddy" than wrap it up in a package for him to open :)

I do the Teddy thing too.
Not very interesting huh?
Now I feel under pressure especially since it is also my anniversary

we are so un-romantic i can't even find appropriate adjectives to describe it! teddies? nope. fancy underwear? nope. i put on a clean sweatshirt at bedtime once in a while, does that count?

Ok, watched Oprah on Monday and it was about women over 50, posing in the buff for Dove products and the winner had her picture displayed in Times Square.
DH walked in and I yelled, "Hey, you want to take a picture of me naked?", He stopped dead in his trackes and he couldn't speak...That was enough to last him for a while, LOL.

Thanks for the reminder. My husband and I just celebrated 16 years of marriage. I took the night off work, we ordered out and watched a movie. Snuggled on the couch like newlyweds. Then... fell off to sleep on the couch. Hmmmm
Should have read your blog sooner.

Having been married for 8 years I don't feel qualified, but I couldn't "miss out" on this topic :)
The first and formost is, we go away for a weekend on my birthday and our anniversary !
We get a hotel - the works !
I think it's essential (especially during the kid "stage" to have time together away from the children.) Although I think we'll still do it even when our kids are grown.
We go on a date almost every week.
We just communicate about EVERYTHING, so we know what each other wants.
That's it, nothing really sexy or flirty.
Although I'm more in love with my husband now then when we married - we're like newlyweds, we keep the romance, love, and marriage alive !:)

(We are getting ready to do the B&B for the first time for my b-day, I can't wait - it sounds sooo great !!!!)

Wow...this is not a post I expected, but so fun! I have made a cassette tape for my hubby and sent him on a scavenger hunt around town picking up little things I bought for him (ie. pick up a card at the card shop, flowers at the flower shop) until he reached his destination (me with a picnic lunch at the park...he enjoyed that. I also like making coupon books with coupons of things hubby would like (ie. foot massage, cook his favorite meal)...hey a non-paid SAHM has to be creative you know ;-) Thanks for sharing this...it was fun!

have you seen the new packages of silk rose petals???? I always wanted to make a path with them through the house but couldn't bear to pay $60 for roses to just rip the petals off of them...and now you can reuse these...I think I'll have to think of a way to use these this year ;)

Hmmm...something I can share?! :oD

Leaving little love notes anywhere he can find them (lunch box, pocket of his work clothes, etc.)...

A special phone call to his work place (make sure he's the one on the phone first!), and just telling him I'm calling for their best-looking (sexiest) employee...

Okay, that's enough from here.

After almost 18 years of marriage, there's lots more...but can't share! :oD

I think it's a girl-thing to try and spice up the marriage, but I've been the benefactor of such efforts. No complaints here, and certainly no telling!

As for my favorite commercial of the super bowl, mine was the one where "fist five" was out, replaced by exchanges of face slapping. Pertinent to me because there is a guy that always puts out his fist to me, and I reply in kind.

lol the last romantic Vday was in 2003 when I went into labor with our first... I've been pregnant for every other since lol... next year! I don't think they make fancy frilly stuff for the preggos! lol..

One time I sent Dan to get a massage. He arrived at the place and thought he was there to work. Of course he didn't open the envelope when he got there like I told him to. A blind man came out and asked Dan to remove his clothes and wrap up in the towel. This made Dan call me and ask what's going on. I said, "Did you open the envelope?" "No." he answered.
Once I explained everything, then he opened the envelope.

In any case, he recieved a surprise massage. LOL! That was fun.

That's all I'm going to share.

I was forced to change as well. At least they gave us 6 months to get used to the idea.
So far I am enjoying the change. I have not lost anything and the added features have been nice.
