Engagement pics and more....

Engagement pics are done and all I can say is "Wow"! RSVPs are coming in....We are getting down to the wire now...only 3.5 weeks to go. I am providing the food so I am busy trying out recipes on my co-workers. haha

But they aren't complaining! So far everything I have made has been a hit. I think things are going to be just fine. I still have to collect some serving pieces and recruit some helpers but it is shaping up nicely....

Dress was purchased just yesterday...It is gorgeous, of course and she will look stunning in it...but after those engagement pics, I think she would look stunning in a potato sack. I will post my latest recipe on the Scarf Sisters Cooking Blog so those of you who don't Facebook can try it out...and guess who's coming over to do the wedding photography?? Gina ...it will be our first time to meet in real life! I am so excited!

Dear Cheryl,
these engagement pics are beautiful and also nontraditional with the train track and the other backgrounds.
Love and happiness is glowing from every picture.
Now wonder you are looking forwards to the big day; the wedding.

Please greet your Norwegian dinner guests from Elise in Haugesund.
Have a joyful meting.

Those are so beautiful, and the two in them too. Lovely shots - what memories to keep. Hope it all goes well as the wedding approaches.

Dear Cheryl,
It's almost unbelievable, and yet, people keep saying, that the world is a small place.
Most people from my part of Norway for some reason are traveling west, to Seattle, Wash.or Montana.

It's nice to learn that people from my town (30 000 inhabitants) are having a good time down south.
Now I'm being curious; are they Norwegian /American or just on a luxurious vacation?
In any case they are probably thrilled to be in Atlanta. I have hardly used a summer dress this summer, it has been too cold with around 50 degrees.
have a nice week end.
From Felisol/Haugesund
