Reading....or trying to

I don't usually have a reading list one but just now I do have a few things lined up.

1. A.D. Chronicles #8 (I don't know the name yet but I know I have to read it)
2. Millionaire Women Next Door
3. Duct Tape Marketing
4. Book Yourself Solid
5. The Secret to the Christian Life (again)

Can you tell I'm trying to focus on business?

What's on your list?

well, I'm reading the 13th book in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, and also just started reading God Chasers. Trying to play limbo with two very different types of books (oh, not to mention 6 text books).

Can't wait to see you guys soon!

jadasgigi, I am currently reading "Heaven" by Randy Alcon. This is one I am taking in small increments. He is a deep soul. Also, I am reading the "Weigh Down Diet" by Gwen Shamblin. This book is truly transforming. It is written from by a Christian registered dietitian. My mother-in law has already lost 18 lbs using this program. Blessings.

Although a few of your books are great selections, number one for me is Frank Viola's new book.
Thanks for checking out my blog and the complement on my little grandson...I am so pleased with him. Those grandbabies are something else, as I know that you know.

God bless you and yours.

Looking forward to your next post,
Annette

I'm re-reading a book called, "Going Gray" by Anne Kreamer ... just a refresher course and boost of assurance about my current path. Your reading list is far more interesting.

WHERE'S DAVE RAMSEY IN YOUR LIST?

I HAVE A LIST, BUT NOT BOOKS-JUST YET, WORKING ON IT.

I get all I can handle of Dave Ramsey as a contributor on Fox and Friends...:)
does he actually think I'm going to pay cash for my house?!? Yeah, in my dreams.

I'm reading Barbara Walters book, Audition.
Also: If These walls could talk by Elaine Greene
The Mermaid Chair by
Sue Monk Kidd
and a decorating magazine on Country French design...which has all my attention for the moment. I don't do as much reading during the summer...way to busy. That's what that loooonnng winter is for!

I'm re-reading the "Russians" series of novels by Phillips/Pella. Also just picked up the newest Beverly Lewis book. (I love books on the Amish, as there are several large communities here in Ohio. We used to live in a town with a large Amish population, too.)
That's pretty much it right now.

Ah, reading. I have a vague recollection of what that is. Perhaps one day I'll remember again! Haha! Have fun with this list Cheryl. Looks like a great one. I read Millionaire Next Door and really enjoyed it (Millionaire Woman wasn't out yet I guess).

Hey friend. It's always fun to see what others are reading.

My reading list (bookwise) has shortened somewhat these days. I tend to read in different categories, depending on my need or interest at the time. During the summer, I read up on jewelry design, reading online about digital scrapbooking now, but for spiritual food, I stick with the bible and a handful of other trusty sources. When I *do* settle down with a good book, I tend to read a lot of 'dead people' ...lol.

After seeing Les Miserables this past week, I'd love to dig into the novel again - this time finish it! (So many rich metaphors & spiritual implications). Will probably read more this winter. Right now my reading is not so much books as articles & research. Occasionally I'll read a book like "The Faith of Barack Obama" ONLY because a publisher sent it for my written review.

Now, what I need to know is, if I read The Millionaire Woman Next Door, will I become any richer? :-)

Hugs!
V.
