The Singing Hopscotch

Saturday was an awesome day.....

We bought chalk

We drew and drew.....

Then...we hopscotched...

When I asked Jada what kind of hopscotch she made...
She said...."its a singing Hopscotch".....

I can live with that.....:)

Sidewalk chalk is an amazing thing. It has been the tool for many fun times with my own kiddos. What a great day of memories you created together!

"Singing hopscotch"...that has a nice ring to it! :-) I know there's a spiritual lesson in that somewhere...

Love the photos and the memories. While at the coffee shop today, there was a whole family playing a board game - I forget about board games with WiFi, GameBoy and the like. Singing Hopscotch is right up there. Glad you got some play time in!

Many of my most treasured memories with my daughter are days and early evenings spent drawing in various apt. parking lots..or military housing driveways....such a simple diversion...yet soooo sooo joyful!!!! BTW...thank you for your comment on my most recent life changing event...I am still processing the idea of being a teacher and a counselor... God is working a marvelous thing.

Great pics...they look warm and sunny! And yes, in answer to your comment, we have cherry blossoms in bloom up here, which would account for my itchy eyes!! Never mind that on Monday it actually snowed and covered the pink with a blanket of white!

love the sidewalk chalk :)

just wish the lable "washable" was true - we've stained quite a few pieces of clothing with sidewalk chalk! i've learned my lesson the hard way and require certain clothing for such kinds of fun ;)
