I'm back...

..well for a day or two...then the New Year's weekend is upon us! I won't truly be back til next week...my mind is still in vacation mode. :)
so how was your Christmas? mine was good...no great!
lots of food and sweets and family and laughter...not much singing this year...mountains of gifts...we all went a bit overboard with the Jadabear....we'll know better next year, right?
My son and new SIL got to play santa and put some toys together...funny seeing them on their backs in the garage trying to figure out the bits and pieces of a Barbie hot cycle...lol
BBQ is the meal of the day on Christmas day(no cooking allowed)...and for icing on the cake the Cowboys and Eagles were playing football...Eagles win!! (did I mention we are big Eagles fans)...such a treat to have every one here and not for only a day or two...but long enough to really enjoy each other. I took about 200 pictures and my son turned me on to the movie feature on my camera so I have a couple of those too...I'll be sure to post a few..I promise, only a few...:).....
Now to try and focus enough to get a little work done so I can be off over the weekend again! Yay!...see ya...

Glad you had a great time - ours was wonderful and hectic. The chocolate fountain was a hit and by Christmas night - we were pooped. Ready to hit some after Christmas sales today and watch some movies. This is my favorite week of the year. The world still seems magical and even if you are working, no one is in the mood. Hope you have a great week!

Oh yeah, the game. I saw how it was going to play out in the first quarter. They had our number. That's the way it is. Good luck in the playoffs. I think you have a team. If we meet again, I think it will be the same results. I honestly thought we had more heart than we do.

And yes, my holidays were good, even with the Ebenezer business. They were good people, just a little swarmy for my liking.

Glad yours was a good one. My kids are still beaming, and that's what it's all about! I'll bet you didn't like that sign, "Romo is the reason for the season"

I'll bet they put that one in the fireplace after the game.

Welcome back even if it's only temporary. :-)

What a nice Christmas and yeah, it's very easy to go overboard with the little ones. We did that, too, but I've always thought it's really all about them anyway.

I have that movie feature on my camera, too. I have no idea why I haven't gotten my manual out and figured out how to use it.

Blessings to you as we enter the new year.

I love this season and hate to see it end. But wasn't it Charles Dickens who said we must keep to keep Christmas in our hearts all year?:-) And we do. Blessings to you and your precious family. Lexie played Santa and distributed our gifts on Christmas Eve. She was a hoot at 4 yrs old....so joyful and excited to be with all of us.

Post more pics! Love ya!

Nah, you won't know better next year : ) That's what grandmas are best at--going overboard and pourin' on the love and goodies just because. So happy to hear you had a great Christmas -- us too! ; )

I'm so glad you got to have your family with you. It sounds like a special day. (And OF COURSE you all have to overdo it for your Jada...! That's what makes it so much fun!)
