I have been thinking of this for a long time and today I think I will begin...I want to do blog posts on "things I love" or things that make me smile or make life easier or what ever...you get the idea....maybe I will be able to keep up with it and maybe not..but today...on this long snow day in January..I am going to begin.
Today will include a couple of things....
1st...this girl...and her Great love for her "children"
this is a picture of her with her handicapped American Girl Doll, Emily. she has no arms, no legs and needed glasses desperately (which she received for Christmas). JBear is so accepting and loving of all of her "babies" and especially the handicapped ones...it just makes me smile. Soon Emily will travel to the American Girl hospital for an arm and leg transplant and return home to be almost as good as new...I can't wait!
2nd...Veggie Chili! My mom has discovered a recipe for Vegetable Chili which I Love! It is so easy and so healthy...I want her to make it every week! Of course we don't always get it made weekly, but today...on this cold and snowy day...Vegetable Chili is perfect!

This was the cutest ever. A smiling girl loving her handicapped doll.
I wish more people, young and adults were learned to share this love.
I've just watched some pop music videos with my daughter and I am appalled by the way young women are selling themselves on music TV.
They are the opposite of role models, they make me sick.
Your lovely granddaughter is blessed to get this unique kind of upbringing and love.
I love that too.
Children and food, what is not to love. I was just reading a friend's teen on FB. This is a strong christian family...
He's climbin in your windows, he's snatchin your people up! Tryna rape em so y'all need to hide your kids, hide your wife, hide your kids, hide your wife, hide your kids, hide your wife and hide your husband cuz they're rapin errbody out here! :D You can't help but love that song!
We might need a review on what love is. Thinking you might be the teacher...
Love, love, love this post.
1. Jada is so precious. I love to see a little girl that still loves dolls, and this little "handicap" doll is wonderful. What a wonderful lesson she is learning.
2. Your Momma is a fierce cook! Obviously you have some wonderful women in your family, from your Mother right down to Jada. You are blessed!
3. I love the idea of this post so much. I think I may do the same thing from time to time if you don't mind.
Of course i don't mind, Pat! I may have stolen the idea from you in the first place!
We never steal Cheryl....we share LOL!
How did I miss this? I'm just now reading it almost a month later...
Love Jada and her doll! Olivia is so not a doll person. Every doll she gets as a gift she lovingly passes along to one of her cousins!
I am spending the evening strolling through blogs. I've been away for too long!
I miss reading all of your posts.
And congrats on the upcoming family events...babies and all...always so joyous!
will she share the recipe? yummy

Just droppin by to let you know I'm really tryin to keep my word and re-connect! Love this idea and especially love this post. Your little Jada is soo precious! I love little girls who still enjoy a baby doll!
My late husband's favorite food in the whole world was homemade chili. I love the idea of vegetable chili and it looks delicious!
Soo lookin forward to being 'in the loop' again!
Your grand daughter probably has a gift for helping others. Encourage her to dosome service in your community. Her teachers should help challenge her gift for service. That is a good thing for the Kingdom.
Your chili looks good. Did you put squash in it? I see something green.
Where are you hiding Cheryl? Come out, come out wherever you are. Spring has sprung .. time for another post .. pretty please.
xxx
Jada and her special doll is very touching! What a sweet spirit of love that girl has within her.
What's not to love? Almost everything around is lovable!
