One of my good blog friends over at Ordinary Christian wrote these words today....
"When God chooses you and brings you to a new point, when He has chosen to define you in such a way that is pleasing to Him, don’t turn back and look at yourself in any other way again.
You are His workmanship. He sees us as we really are, pure and blameless in the Beloved."
So touched by this today....read the entire post here.....

Thanks for sharing :)

This is so true. It should be our goal to see ourselves as Christ sees us and not any other way.
A word that I heard in my heart! Thanks Cheryl for your comment on my blog. When I hear from you I see us face to face.
Love you sister
Very cool - it is so easy to lose focus - been too busy lately and I can feel its effect.
Hope your studies are going well and that you are flooded with grace, my friend...love ya
reminds me of gideon in the OT who was afraid, yet the angel of the Lord addressed him this way, "hail gideon, mighty man of valor." God saw his strength, not his fears. thanx for the reminder. God always looks beyond our faults, and we're the apple of His eye--His precious little ones.
i just read a quote yesterday "its fine to glance back, just don't stare." :) sounds like you are moving forward in the Father's opinion of you. you are accepted in the Beloved's Love for you, cheryl!!!!
Thanks for this!
wonderful words! very uplifting! :)
What a wonderful post! I really needed that today. Thank you!
P.S. You've been tagged. I'm sure you "love" these as much as I do. I know you're super busy, so feel no obligation. I had to come up with 8 names, though, and I don't have that many "bloggers" to tag.
This touched me, too. How nice to drop in to say hello and find something like this. Beautiful.
Wow, that is so good. A wonderful reminder. Sending love and hugs....
That ordinary sure does come up with some profound ones. How true and what a challenge. That's a toughie. We are so hard on ourselves but that's the enemy! We are free. That's what Jesus was all about. Thank you for the reminder Cheryl (and Ordinary). : )
A great reminder....glad I stopped over here tonight

Thanks for the visit. Our Father's eyes are the eys of love and mercy.
Totally true. We are holy and blameless in His sight!
Just stopping by to say hi. Nice quote from ordinary christian.
just came from andrea's site. it's really good, isn't it? i needed to be reminded of that too.
Thank you so much for this TRUTH! This is in my spirit - it is, just like He is. It matters not what I see, or what others see, because He is my reality! Thank you, for the reminder of who we are!
Love you sis!
hey cheryl, my husband is traveling to atlanta tomorrow and friday for work....also visiting the house of prayer down there....do u ever go to the house of prayer there?
OK Cheryl-
time to come down from that "treehouse" and post a new blog. Your audience is waiting!
Cheryl, thanks for sharing this.
I have printed the line: "When God chooses you and brings you to a new point, when He has chosen to define you in such a way that is pleasing to Him, don't turn back and look at yourself in any other way again." --and it's taped to my computer! It's just what I needed - just when I needed it!
wow - and that is SO hard to do
yes, Lord, may it be true of me.
