We walk it all the time and Christ never stops being expressed on it...but early this year we had had A LOT of rain (A LOT! And we get a lot anyway...) So this already raging river became something MORE. It was bigger and more immense than I had ever seen it before. And when once I walked by it calm, I now walked by it in awe and wonder, and a little frightened by its intensity. Maybe because I knew I was safe where I was, or maybe just seeing a new side of something so dear to me, I fell in Love with this river. To me, this was my Lord. He is ever changing as well as never changing. And I keep falling in Love with Him for it. These posts mad...Both are consuming and expansive. These posts made me think of all those wild fires broken out right now. There are about 1 million acres burning right now in the US. These also kept popping the Grand Canyon image in my head.
