Isn't this AWESOME!?!?

THIS IS A FIRE RAINBOW - THE RAREST OF ALL NATURALLY OCCURING ATMOSPHERIC PHENOMENA. THE PICTURE WAS CAPTURED JUNE 3rd 2006 ON THE IDAHO/WASHINGTON BORDER.

THE EVENT LASTED ABOUT 1 HOUR.

CLOUDS HAVE TO BE CIRRUS, AT LEAST 20K FEET IN THE AIR, WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF ICE CRYSTALS AND THE SUN
HAS TO HIT THE CLOUDS AT PRCEISELY 58 DEGREES.

This is true according to snopes.com: http://www.snopes.com/photos/natural/firerainbow.asp

All I can say is WOW!

This event happened right above my town and could be seen in Idaho and Washington. It was all over the papers, news, etc. Even made it in a locally published weather calendar. Very beautiful.

It certainly doesn't look real does it? That is awesome that it happened where Mrs. Mac lives. Thanks for stopping by my front porch and bringing some of your sister magic with you :)All that is left is about ten loads of laundry...everything else is in it's place...that is until dinner time :)
